You are changing the lives of refugees like Anna and her daughters Sofi and Alisa.
Like many people who are forced to leave their homes due to war, Anna had to protect the futures of her children by fleeing the conflict in Ukraine.
Now they are living in London but they miss home terribly. However Anna is glad that her daughters are safe and they can finish their education.
With the therapeutic support Anna has received from Refugee Council she has been able to process the trauma she carries. She also has a support network at her women's group where she can share her experiences with other women.
How your donation can help:
- £5 could pay for a refugee to receive a hot meal, have a shower and wash their clothes in our Destitution Service.
- £50 could pay for 10 refugees to receive hot meals, have showers and wash their clothes in our Destitution Service.
- £100 could support a refugee with employability skills in our Employment Service.
- £150 could help pay for a child refugee to attend 6 group sessions to build language and social skills.
- £250 could pay for 5 therapeutic sessions, to help cope with trauma and grief.
